Day 1: Off road Northern loop trail Hanoi – Thac Mu: 210 km/ 7 hours ( L, D)

At 8:00 am in the morning, we meet up at our BM travel office and be prepared for our coming Off road Vietnam Motorcycle Tours in northern loop Trail within 8 days. After that, at about 9 am we are going to move out of town about 20 km by following urban highways. We will soon drive along an empty dirt road across fields of rice, village ponds, and picturesque land dams. Today in rural Northern Vietnam, you will be given chances to view the quiet, beautiful daily life of local farmers.
We’re going to achieve the Ho Chi Minh trail crossroads. We will make our first stop at a roadside café after 5 km along National Highway 6 before taking the next off-road path. We are going to move on a small road along the Luong Son stream instead of going along the National Highway 6 or the Safe Zone section. We will reach the beginning of our off-road journey after 20 minutes riding through Muong villages. This is only 25 km long but quite difficult. It needs more care while riding under the rain that is most likely during the journey you will get once or twice! And the lunch is ready for you at about 1 pm at a restaurant with delicious local specialties.
After lunch time, our Northern Loop Vietnam Motorcycle Tours team is going to take a further difficult path. It will be 5 km of enjoyment when passing Bai Chao River. This path is comparatively short but hard that might cost us up to half an hour. We’ll head directly for the top of the orange and tangerine hills in Cao Phong instead of taking the large route to gain fun in extraordinary way.
Hills and mountains or big streams are left behind. The journey is always full of exciting moments and even the hardest ones. That is when we get bad luck of rainy days, instead of climbing steep hills and rolling off the other side, we have to push and pull our dirt bikes up slopes. It is about 4:40pm that we will go back to 12B highway and hug it 15 km and switch to another 15 km off-road to the Mu Waterfall. Our first remarkable day finishes. You can rest the day after a long beginning day at a local homestay.
